Through the exploration of the contemporary still life, Dido Carrero (artist, gallerist, and PhD in biomedicine and molecular oncology) highlights, through the pieces in this exhibition, the latent beauty within everyday scenes, pausing to observe what usually goes unnoticed and rescuing the aesthetics of the small and the routine.

In her compositions, seemingly ordinary elements—a plate, a cup, a piece of fruit—invite us to the table, fostering conversation and affection, and condensing collective stories imbued with beauty. Far from the anecdotal or merely decorative, the still life thus becomes a symbolic space from which to reflect on the bonds we weave around the domestic sphere.
